Hi, I’m Lee. I travel, I eat and I tell stories. I’m currently living in Ho Chi Minh City aka Saigon, Vietnam. I primarily shoot travel, documentary and food stories. On occasions, I’ll branch out to other genres, but you have to ask nicely and come bearing gifts.
Forming bonds and sharing stories is a tradition as old as humanity. While the methods may change, the communal and social value of telling stories remains as important as ever. Using the visual medium of photography gives us the opportunity to share experiences and build relationships with people all over the world, and it's this common respect and curiosity that forms the backbone of my work.
When not on assignment, I’m teaching workshops all over Asia with Pics of Asia. Pics of Asia focuses on ethical travel photography and creating meaningful experiences for both photographers and the people they meet in their travels.
I’ve traveled all over Asia Pacific shooting stories for The Guardian, CNN, the Vietnam Board of Tourism, and various other international outlets. When I’m not working, I’m spending my time with my amazing wife, Urica and our french bulldog, Barley (let’s be honest, she’s our child).
